At 01:13 hrs Spc. Warton and Spc. Morrigan, while updating server structure on Server 19: PAGODA II, found a self-reproducing redundant line of code in VEIL-3 at line 11945.47.12. They quickly took efforts to isolate and quarantine the code, and at 01:57 hrs server structure was taken off Code Yellow status and security lockdown was lifted. Subsequent analysis of the code’s origin has so far failed to produce any actionable leads. Communications with VEIL-1 and VEIL-2 stations have conveyed the importance of meticulous investigation of their code, while VEIL-4, offline at the time of the incident pending program updates, has not been brought back online until this matter is resolved.
Due to the fact that we, at this time, do not know the extent of any damage or information leak, we recommend initiation of SANDSTORM procedures until such time as the situation is properly resolved.
